Letter to the Editor
Indiana is extremely blessed to have Destiny Wells as a candidate for Secretary of State in 2022. Not only is she highly qualified and motivated, but she is also dedicated to serving and wants the government to work for all Hoosiers.
Her rural roots in Morgan County, her experience in government, along with military service that includes a tour in Afghanistan, all give her a unique perspective on democracy and insight that will serve her well in this office.
Destiny’s current mission: safeguard our democracy right here at home. She would honor election results and, in Destiny’s own words, “free ourselves from the election sabotage that the far-right in power have been planning since 2020.”
As Secretary of State, Destiny will show that we can maintain voter integrity and at the same time, make voting easier and fairer, not harder and unjust. She wants every voice to be heard, and she encourages women to lead the way to erase injustices.
You owe it to yourself, you owe it to your community, you owe it to democracy to learn more about Destiny and her platform. Do your homework, and you, too, will agree that Destiny Wells is a godsend.
