the issues
Families in our community are working harder every year and still falling behind. Too often the rules feel written for someone else.
Government should work for people. It’s that simple.
healthcare without debt
No one should avoid the doctor because they’re worried about the bill that follows. I support universal healthcare that includes mental health, dental, vision, and reproductive care. People should be able to address problems early, not wait until they become worse and more expensive.
childcare & paid leave
Families are doing brutal math every month. For some parents, childcare costs more than housing. That’s upside down. We need affordable childcare and paid leave that gives families room to breathe.
work that pays
If you work full time, you should be able to build a stable life. I support raising the federal minimum wage and protecting the right to organize. Work should cover the basics and allow people to get ahead.
strong public schools
Every child deserves a solid education. Congress must fully fund special education and support teachers so they can stay in the classroom and focus on students.
housing families can afford
Working families shouldn’t be bidding against hedge funds for starter homes. We need more housing supply and serious investment in affordability, along with rules that protect regular buyers.
lower energy bills
Energy policy should lower your monthly bill, not make it unpredictable. Clean energy and grid upgrades can create jobs and protect ratepayers, but they must be done responsibly.
clean air & water
The air we breathe and the water we drink should not harm our health. Microplastics are showing up in our rivers and in our bodies. That’s a warning sign. I support stronger enforcement against polluters, modernizing environmental standards, and making sure corporations are not cutting corners at the public’s expense.
safer communities
Our first responders show up every day. They deserve federal support that actually helps on the ground. I support responsible gun laws, including safe storage requirements and steps to keep firearms out of dangerous hands.
veterans first
Veterans did their part. We need to do ours. That means modernizing the VA, cutting delays, and making care easier to access. It also means allowing access to medical marijuana and CBD.
protecting the vulnerable
Government must protect people from discrimination, violence, and systems that strip away dignity. That means defending LGBTQ+ Americans with equal protection in health care, housing, and employment, and building a humane immigration system grounded in due process and human rights.
government that works
Government should serve people. Period. End subsidies that do not create real jobs. Ban insider stock trading in Congress. Push for term limits through a constitutional amendment. Reduce dark money. Rebuild trust.
